❓ What is Reliq?

Reliq is a fully analog matrix & mixer, a 16-track sequencer, and a DAW controller. It's designed to connect and control analog gear, modular synths, MIDI instruments, and your DAW — all from a single interface.

🎛️ Is Reliq an audio interface?

No — Reliq does not include analog-to-digital or digital-to-analog converters. We explored this option early on, but using converters would have made it a digital matrix instead of an analog one. This also would have significantly increased production costs and complexity. We're still exploring the possibility of add-ons or companion interfaces.

🔀 Can I send CV from my DAW?

Yes, you can send CV directly from your DAW to any of the 32 CV outputs using the USB MIDI port on Reliq.

📏 What are the dimensions of Reliq and the Breakout Module?

Reliq measures 40x40 cm.
The Breakout Module is Eurorack-sized at 32HP.

🔌 How does the Breakout Module connect?

It connects via a standard USB-C cable and uses a custom protocol to communicate with Reliq.

💼 Is the Breakout Module included in the price?

Yes — it's included with every Reliq unit.

🎚️ What MIDI connectors are used?

Reliq includes 3 MIDI outputs and 1 MIDI input, all using TRS Minijack (Type A)

➕ Can I connect multiple inputs to the same output?

Yes — this is supported by the analog matrix.

➡️ Can I send one input to multiple outputs?

Yes — one input can be routed to several outputs simultaneously.

🎛️ Can I control the volume of each connection point individually?

No — amplitude control is available per input and per output, but not per connection point.

💾 What is a routing?

A routing is a saved state that includes matrix connections, input amplitudes, and output amplitudes.

💽 How many routings can I store?

Each project supports up to 64 routings.

🔁 Can I sequence routings?

Yes — you can use the Matrix Sequencer to switch between routings like you would with clips.

🎼 How many tracks are available in the sequencer?

There are 16 tracks, assignable to any MIDI, USB, or CV output.

🎹 How much polyphony does Reliq support?

Each sequencer track supports up to 8 voices.

🔒 Is parameter locking supported?

Yes — parameters can be locked per step or edited in the piano roll.

🕒 What’s the sequencer resolution?

Reliq operates at 768 PPQN.

🎲 Are probability and triggers per step supported?

Yes — each step has its own probability setting and trigger control.

🎬 Can I launch clips?

Yes — Reliq includes a clip page for launching clips manually or in sync.
Each track supports up to 256 clips.

📏 What’s the max clip length?

Each clip can be up to 32704 steps long.

📈 What kind of modulation is available?

Each track includes:

One LFO
One Envelope

These can target internal parameters, MIDI CC, or CV outputs.

⚙️ What’s the LFO range when using CV?

From 0.001 Hz to 60 Hz.

💻 Which DAWs are supported?
