Sequencer Track Solo Mutes Matrix I/O
I was going to post this in the issues section, but I wanted to make sure this is actually a bug and not expected behavior first.
What happened: Soloing a track makes it inaudible.
What's expected: Soloing a track isolates its sequencer track while matrix routing is preserved.
This may be expected behavior, I'm not sure, but when soloing sequencer tracks while using the matrix mixer as a send/return type structure, all matrix i/o is muted, making it impossible to hear the soloed track.
Example:
My matrix layout -
Input 1 - Battering Ram Out
Input 2 - Mono Mixer Out
Input 3 - Spectraphon A Out (Mono)
Input 4 - Spectraphon B Out (Mono)
Input 5 - QPAS L Out
Input 6 - QPAS R Out
Input 7 - Lubadh Out 1 (L)
Input 8 - Lubadh Out 2 (R)
Input 9 - Ferry Out L
Input 10 - Ferry Out R
Input 11 - Bitbox Out L
Input 12 - Bitbox Out R
Input 13 - Mimeophon Out L
Input 14 - Mimeophon Out R
Input 15 - FX Aid Out L
Input 16 - FX Aid Out R
Output 1 - Main Out 1
Output 2 - Main Out 2
Output 3 - Disting NT In L
Output 4 - Disting NT In R
Output 5 - ER-301 In 1 (L)
Output 6 - ER-301 In 2 (R)
Output 7 - Lubadh In 1 (L)
Output 8 - Lubadh In 2 (R)
Output 9 - Ferry In L
Output 10 - Ferry In R
Output 11 - Bitbox In L
Output 12 - Bitbox In R
Output 13 - Mimeophon In L
Output 14 - Mimeophon In R
Output 15 - FX Aid In L
Output 16 - FX Aid In R
So, for example, if I have a matrix chain that goes XPO (direct patch) to QPAS > (matrix) > Main Out, and track 3 in the sequencer is controlling pitch and gate output to CV/Gate 3, which is in-turn controlling the XPO voice, and I solo that, the matrix routing is muted and I can't hear the isolated XPO sequence.
What is the expected use of track solo to preserve the audio? Or is this a bug?
