What’s the issue?
I want to use Ableton as master clock (start/stop/bpm/...). When I connect Reliq using Host USB, I can get it to send start/stop to Reliq and the sequencer start, but the project bpm is still 120 (not updated on Reliq, ableton is set to 127) and I can get it to follow the bpm from Ableton.
Separately, when I connect using USB-midi to Ableton, I can get to send anything over. The DAW integration works over midi port 2 as a Control Surface and I do see Reliq Midi 1 and 2 as input and output ports in Ableton's MIDI config page (and have track/sync/remote on, tried a few combinations also) but Reliq doesn't start/stop or set the BPM from Abelton.
In both cases I expected reliq to follow ableton as master
How to reproduce
- Connect USB to laptop through either port
- Set Reqli Midi out 1 (or 2 or both) as tracking/sync/remote in Midi config page (output ports)
- Press play in ableton
- Reliq does not follow
System info (if relevant)
- Rix 1.1.3
- Connected devices: other midi keyboard, etc.
