What’s the issue?
I'm sending quantized notes from an external sequencer to Reliq, which is set to Unquantized recording.
However:
The first note does not get recorded.
Notes are not aligned as expected (they appear slightly off-grid).
An extra note appears at the end of the sequence, which doesn’t exist in the original pattern.
Here's a screenshot with annotations for clarity:

Additional note:
I’ve experienced a similar issue when recording my own playing from an external keyboard. External recordings in general don’t feel very tight.
How to reproduce
- Set Reliq as master, sending clock and transport to an external sequencer.
- On the external sequencer, create a 16-step fully quantized sequence.
- On Reliq, enable Unquantized recording mode.
- Arm record on Reliq and press Play.
- Check the recorded notes in Reliq:
The first note is missing.
Notes are slightly off-grid.
An extra note appears at the end.
