What’s the idea?
In Hapax, there is a mode where the 8 encoders are assigned to destinations like CCs, midi effects, etc
It would be great to have a similar mode where the 16 encoders can be assigned to things. I think ideally this would be available with per track and global project sets of encoders. Or perhaps there could be just one performance section with multiple banks of encoders.
Where would it go?
Uncertain on this one. I feel like it should get a key combo for quick access/changes. or be a section like matrix/mixer/etc and then have buttons within that if needed. If it's decided to be a worthwhile addition, I feel like it's worth making it fast, for performance use. A slow-access implementation wouldn't be worthwhile, although would be better than nothing at all maybe..
