Audio bleed over between outputs

What’s the issue?

I just got my Reliq instruments and I am noticing a huge amount of audio bleed over in the outputs. For example, if I route a kick drum from input 1 to output 1&2 and I route the snare from input 2 to output 1&2&10, I hear the kick drum out of output 10 even though it is not routed there

We’ve already identified a case where bleed can occur if an input is being split and summed at the same time, and we’re investigating a proper fix for it.

Appreciate you flagging it, we’ll keep this thread updated once the fix is confirmed.

@Kyriakos-Reliq, Any update to whether this is an inherent hardware design limitation or an issue that might be able to be resolved within a future firmware release?

Hey @jeffmhopkins , thanks a lot for following up

We’ve run quite a few tests already and have some indications this could be software-related rather than a hard design limitation. The potential fixes are a bit time-consuming to validate, so we can’t confirm just yet, but we’re on it.

We’ll keep digging and I’ll update this thread as soon as we have something concrete to share.

I'm having this behaviour even if the source is not splitting and/or summing. Just sending audio from In11 to Out8 (which hasn't got any cable connected as output), will leak audio to other outputs. I have some sources using the Out15 and Out16, and if I send In11 to Out8, even if there is no connection, will leak lots of audio to Out15 and Out16 🙁

Hey @Berto , sorry to hear you’re running into this.

This sounds like a different issue than the one described earlier in the thread. Could you try the following quick test to help us narrow the issue down?
1. Start a new empty project
2. Connect In 11 → Out 8
3. Plug only one cable into Out 16
4. Check if you still hear the bleed
