What’s the idea?
Add the ability to override the default MIDI channel assignment for the Envelope and LFO pages, so they are not locked to their track’s MIDI channel.
Currently, each track’s LFO and Envelope responds to the track’s assigned MIDI channel for both input and output. In some setups, multiple targets share the same channel but use different CCs (for example, a MIDI-controlled VCA with several VCAs on one MIDI channel). Being able to define a different input and output channel for these modulators would make this possible.
It would also be useful to reassign unused Envelopes or LFOs from tracks where they are not needed and distribute them for other purposes.
Where would it go?
In the Envelope and LFO pages, under a small MIDI Settings panel for each, with options to override the default track channel.
Any details or mockups?
Examples:
Input MIDI Channel: Default (Track), Off, Omni, 1–16.
Output MIDI Channel: Default (Track), Off, 1–16.
This keeps the default behavior but allows flexible routing when needed.
