What’s the idea?
Comprehensive editing mode for the piano roll that addresses some current workflow limitations.
Describe the feature or improvement you’re suggesting. What problem does it solve, or what would it enable?
Key features I'm hoping for:
Better Selection Tools
Selection mode for notes that need batch changes (intervals, velocity, etc.)
Per-Sheet Editing
Individual control over each sheet for parameters like semitones offset, velocity offset, timing, etc.
This would be huge for quickly laying down ideas and making changes to specific parts of longer sequences
Enhanced Loop Features
Loop per sheet or just selected portions
This would really help when editing longer patterns - being able to focus on just one sheet while it loops
Automation Improvements
Automation lanes could benefit from more internal destinations
These additions would greatly speed up the creative process, especially when working with complex sequences where you want to modify certain sections without affecting the whole pattern.
