Error - using windows 11 updating to 1.8.0

What’s the issue?

Can´t update to 1.8.0

How to reproduce

I downloaded the latest 1.8.0 version from your side.
Installed as usual.
Then run the setup and start the reliq update.
File downloads
The Windows app simply closes after downloading without any error message.
Then the reliq says:"waiting for the update file to arrive"
nothing else happens.
tryed to restart the reliq and tried again. same problem.
reinstalled the windows app and the reliq same problem
The reliq itself restart with 1.7.1 without any problems.
but the update doesn´t work

System info (if relevant)

Rlx version: `e.g. 1.7.0 to 1.8.0'
Platform: `Windows 11'

Everything is working. It’s a good thing I have two versions of Windows on my computer. It worked immediately with the other version—Windows 11. I really ought to switch to Mac sooner or later; it just works better.

I am having the same issue here. The updater runs but Reliq just states 'Waiting for the file to arrive...' I am also using Windows 11. It now also does not even allow the transfer of files since the last update.

Can you please address this as I have a lot of gear, I literally pulled my studio apart unplugging everything other than the mouse and the reliq from my PC, and it still has the same issue.

This needs to be addressed ASAP.

Thanks for letting us know about this.

Based on your description and @Reliq_user 's report, the issue appears to be related to recent changes across some Windows 11 versions. We’ve already prepared a possible adaptation for this behaviour.

Could you please try the updater below?
