Transfer not working

What’s the issue?

I was trying to transfer an instrument set of CC numbers.
When pressing "Transfer" in the Reliq Updater, the window just shows "Reliq is connecting ..." and just hangs there.
I have tried 2 different laptops and non of them connected.

Please describe what you expected to happen and what actually happened.

DAW or software used: e.g. Bitwig 6

Hi @AntropicM,

Thanks for flagging this.

The first thing to verify is that you’re using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable, connected directly to the computer. If your computer only has USB-C ports, please try using the provided cable together with a simple passive USB-A to USB-C dongle.

If you already tried this setup and the issue persists, you can try the beta updater here.

I tried the provided cable connected directly to my laptop, using an Apple USB-A to USB-C adapter and another adapter that appears to be passive. Neither works with the normal Updater.

The beta updater goes one step further: after pressing Transfer, it shows the next options (Projects, Instruments, MIDI Files, Grooves), but from there nothing else can be selected—only the DONE button works.

I also noticed that I always have to stop Reliq before the Updater can detect it again.

Same problem for me: since update 1.7 the transfer function is no longer activated... "connecting to reliq..." and that's it. It worked before. Mac OS 13.7.8 retina 5k

I tried the proposed beta version... it passes but the buttons don't work...

Thanks a lot for reporting this and for testing the beta version. We were able to identify the issue and have just released a fix for it. Rlx 1.7.1 is now available and includes the file transfer fix, so please update through the Reliq Updater and try again.
