Showing as Midi function in Ableton 12

Reliq not appearing in Ableton or Bitwig as (Reliq). Appearing as MIDI fuction, but can't select Reliq in control surface menu. Any ideas ?
Updated firmware etc. It only arrived this morning

I have managed to get Reliq appearing control surface menu on Ableton 12. But Input and Output are showing as midi Function. Maybe this is normal? It is the same in Device manager . I am on Windows 11

Is Reliq connected tot he computer through the the USB MIDI port or the USB HOST port?

For Ableton / Bitwig control surface use, Reliq needs to be connected to the computer through the USB MIDI port. The USB HOST port is mainly for connecting external USB MIDI devices/controllers to Reliq and updating.

The “MIDI Function” naming can appear on Windows depending on how the device is enumerated, but the first thing to verify is definitely the port used.
