issue when using midi thru box bus powered

What’s the issue?

When using a midi thru without external power supply (alimentation via midi bus) the devices connected to reliq via this box are acting weird. Clock is not consistent, sometimes it pause the transport, notes informations are lost.
I have the impression that the power delivered by reliq is not consistent and is only delivered when playing, not on stop.

How to reproduce

A digitack and octatrack are connected to reliq (midi out 1 + clock send multiple ppq tested) via a midi thru box without external alimentation
When playing, the digitack stop playing then start again, the octatrack loose the sync and drift but still show an external sync present. The digitack loose midi note info and sometimes the midi channel that receive the info is not the proper one.

Hey @Cha , thanks for reporting this.
It would be very helpful if you could tell us which midi thru box you are using.
For context, Reliq outputs MIDI with 3.3V voltage levels, as specified in CA-033 MIDI 1.0 Electrical Specification Update [2014]
Therefore, if the device you are using is an old one that only works with 5V voltage levels, it may not work as intended.
