What’s the idea?
Simple. Allow user to either have MIDI Chase on or off. If it could be done on a per track basis that would be ideal. It’s a fundamental concept in the implementation of MIDI. Sometimes you really want it on sometimes off. Piano you need it off. Sample clip launching or drones you need it on. This is core to the behaviour of sequenced patterns and should be a priority in the design of any sequencer.

Avoids unwanted re triggers when switching patterns or when muting unmuting during tied notes.
Allows tied notes to re trigger when switching patterns if desired.
Where would it go?
Normally MIDI Chase is a global setting but if it could be on a track by track basis that would be great.
