What’s the idea?
Instead of having random recalculate on every loop add the option to have a seed and with that every randomization value the same on every play through.
E.g. C C C C - random with one 2 currently does something like D C C# B - C C C# D
with the new feature you'd constantly get D C C# B with the option to change the seed and get a new variation.
This would make the feature - at least in my view - a lot more usable for note offsets.
Where would it go?
I wanted to write "should be just another parameter in the fx page" but I guess thats full with the current parameters. Not sure, maybe shift+encoder 1 offers "locked with seed" mode and shift+encoder 2 does "seed".
Or make another effect called "Quasi Random" with no selection on the distribution but a seed value instead?
Only having four parameters in general might be a bit tight? (maybe I'm missing something)
