What’s the idea?
It would be really great to access the automations lanes on the CV tracks.
To make this feature powerful, we need to be able to freely assign CV outs to a track.
For exemple track 1 can output enveloppe and pitch on CV A1 and B1 and 2 automations on A16 and B16.
Where would it go?
On the the track page for the CV output configuration. It could be a toggle on the knob that normally choose the midi channel for the track output. Clicking on it could open a window were out can display the outs on the screen (something like the matrix view) and choose with the 16 top pads or buttons/knobs around the screen witch CV are affiliated with this track.
If a out is already used by another track, you could maybe grey it. And if you click on it make a prompt like "do you want to steel this out from track X ?".
The automations lane would be in the same place has they are for the midi tracks. The CV out selection could be in the same place has the CC normally are on midi track.
Any details or mockups?
To be friendly the CV output routing selection could be illuminated if nothing is selected so people can figure out that they have to choose something there.
If it's too confusing, maybe it's possible to make it has a option to enable in the settings in the module page like "enable free CV assignment". Default would be off and track number correspond to CV number like now.
