What’s the idea?
In SEQ mode
Use something like select+steps to group several pads and allow then global modification of them at the same time (selected steps would blink for example, indicating they're grouped). Features like;
Transpose
Edit length
Edit Velocity
Edit probability
Edit triggers
Edit micro-time
Mute/Solo these steps
Copy these steps (unclear how to trigger paste but I'd imagine pressing Paste+first destination step)
Select + Left Jog Rotate could then rotate the selected steps (ex: if 1-4-7 are grouped, select+rotateright makes 2-5-8 grouped)
Shift+Select would invert the selected pads
Shift-Select-Select would clear the grouping, (Or Select-Undo)
Also Select could be made sticky by a double tap on it so that we don't need to keep it pressed to add/remove steps to the group
(Got many more ideas to improve that section but I4ll let you first review this one ans see if it makes sense)
